Greeters and Ushers
"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it." Hebrews 13:2
Greeters are the friendly faces that say the first hello as members and visitors come to worship. They will assist in finding name tags, or make name tags for first time visitors.
Greeters assist at the communion rail during Holy Eucharist to guide those who wish to receive.
Ushers stand in the Narthex before church services to hand out the Sunday bulletin. They pass the plate to collect the Sunday offering, and direct people when it’s time to go forward for the Eucharist.
Greeter and Ushers are active at both Sunday services, and are asked to help at special services and funerals.
