Sunday School Without Walls

"Start children off in the way they should go and even when they are old they will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6

Who: Children ages 4-11

Why: Life is busy and there are so many demands on our families. Sunday School Without Walls is a way to give our children a chance to read and understand the Bible on their own schedule at home with their families.

When: Letters are sent out by postal mail each week usually arriving Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

What: In the letters is a short Bible reading assignment from The Jesus Storybook Bible for children 4-8. A Bible Challenge is offered to support the learning of the story. Children ages 9-11 receive an assignment from “Hearts Alive” with a Bible Challenge.

Connecting: On Sundays in the Parish Hall right after the 8 AM service and before the 10:30 AM service, the Christian Ed Coordinator or another adult will be there to hear the Bible Challenges. There will be some small reward for accomplishing it.

If your family is interested, please let Betty Anne Taylor know at bataylor@ces-richmond.org or at 713-502-6925.
