We can all use more friends.

The first few times you visit Calvary you will see a lot of friendly faces, but they may not be familiar faces. Calvary offers lots of opportunities to get together: for worship, for fellowship, for fun, for study and for work. One of the best ways to get into the main stream at Calvary is to join one of our small groups. We call them "Shepherd Groups".

We have several Shepherd Groups of six to twelve persons who gather weekly to study the Bible, to share how God is working in their lives and to pray for one another. The groups are led by trained Shepherds whose job is the care and feeding (spiritually, that is) of the flock. These groups develop a close bond in a very short time and are always open to new members. They also get together for parties, or to go to the theater or a restaurant. The love they discover in relationship with the Lord and within the group; also spills over to helping others in the form of service projects in the community

Why not join one of the groups? Call the church office at 281-342-2147. We will tell you more and will introduce you to a Shepherd or to a group member. The rest is up to you. We are eager to meet you and to be your friend.
